'Newton Park' was my first experience of being a Lighting Designer at Bath Spa University and was a unique experience. Rather than in a theatre, this production took place in the historic Main House on Newton Park which presented it's own challenges for the production.
It was a fun production to be involved in and work out how to light the space using the limited resources available and having to make the most of doorways to have birdies ontop of as well as the standard lighting available in the house.
It was a great production to add to my experience in dealing with difficult sitations and working out how to make everything work across multiple rooms while disguising cables within the set.
